Unpreserved water samples are analyzed for sulfate (and other anions) on a Thermo Scientific Integrion HPIC ion chromatograph. (A standard suite of seven ions is analyzed on each sample: Bromide, Chloride, Fluoride, Nitrate, Nitrite, Phosphate, and Sulfate.) Matrix effects must be considered.
